Our kitchen facilities
The Kitchen – According to our children we have the “best cook in the whole wide world”. We always attain excellence in both our ‘food hygiene’ and ‘get cooking’ awards. Fresh food is prepared on the premises daily for breakfast, lunch and high tea. We are also members of the Caroline Walker Trust, where we take advice on feeding the under-fives.
Entrance area – The nursery was extended in 2002 to add new facilities including; wheelchair access entrance, cloak and toy storage, covered decked area, and sand pit. In 2010 we put on a storm porch to help mums with pushchairs arriving at nursery in bad weather.
Resources and equipment – All furniture toys and equipment is purchased to conform to appropriate british standards. Where resources are natural, a thorough risk assessment is carried out prior to the children using them.
CCTV and security doors – For your peace of mind and your childs security, the nursery undertakes every possible step to ensure a safe environment for all.
Toilets and Changing areas – Child height toilets and sinks along with 3 baby changing stations.
Laundry – For those little accidents.
